Summer Program

Our signature program is a Summer Program that buses kids twice a week in the summer to our partner church Monroe Church of the Nazarene for block programming in four emphases of faith, literacy, healthy living and fun. Teens have their own programming in faith, life skills, relational/emotional health and service projects. Many volunteers are needed to accompany the different age groups to the block programming and present the programming. Kids also receive a hot lunch and packed lunches for the non-program days.

Back To School

Children participating regularly in the Mission Possible Summer Reading Program earn the Back to School event so that they can begin school well. Congregational members and partner churches purchase new shoes and socks, backpacks or school supplies for the individual children and write a note of encouragement.

Christmas and Valentines Parties

Each of these events brings the families from Cornerstone, Monroe Nazarene and Mission Possible together as one family. Dinner is served along with fun and fellowship. Families decorate gingerbread houses during the Christmas party and cookies at the Valentine party.

Teen Ministry

Begun in late 2019, it is an on-going teen ministry that is a faith-building group for the Mission Possible teens.

Individual Ministry

Opportunities vary but might involve simple home repair or regular visits to isolated seniors.
